So, Avengers? Ummm....

I still haven't quite figured out what attracts me to a fandom. It's fairly unpredictable. I thought for sure I'd fall head over heels for The Avengers, but... I didn't. I enjoyed the movie, but I didn't come out of it desperate for more or wanting to ship anyone. My Tumblr dash is all Avengers all the time now, and it's a bit sad that I don't feel it too. I can enjoy the gifsets and such, but I don't feel compelled to read any of the recs that are popping up everywhere. I somehow just don't care that much about those characters. 

I feel like it's blasphemy to say it, but there it is. The fannish bug just didn't bite me for that one. :-P

I haven't even seen the film... I am that lukewarm about the whole comics fandom scene.

Funny how sometimes we just fall head over heels for a fandom, and sometimes we are basically unmoved, isn't it?

I can't figure out what the common threads are between Star Wars, Sar Trek, Harry Potter, Buffy, and Sherlock. I mean, what is it that I like???

Fandoms with a lot of scope, maybe? There isn't much if anything in common between mine, either.
