Things that make me want to homeschool my kid, #23.

Student who failed exam: "It would really be helpful if we could have reviews before the exam."

Me: "Um, well, we actually had two reviews. One we went over in class and the other had all the complete solutions online."

Student: "No, I mean like a review FOR the test."

Me: "..."

Student: "Like the same problems that are going to be on the test, so I can practice."

Me: "WHAT? Are you fucking serious?!? Why don't I just give you the answers in advance so you can simply copy them down? Would that enable you to continue not studying? Or hell, I'll just give you an A for showing up!" (ON THE INSIDE.)

Me, really: "No, that's not going to happen."

Student, WHO IS GOING TO BE A TEACHER: *rolls eyes and stomps away*

My life's work, it is cut out for me. *sigh*
