- I had something to promote
- no bug-eating or sex under the camera would be involved
- I figured I had a reasonable chance of coming out all right using all the charm I think I have.
Look at this VERY objectively: how does it help you now? In six months' time? In two years' time?
Consider doing it if there is a visible advantage for you (such as, you have a book about to be published and this wil sell copies) and examine the minuses very carefully (as in: "We can't possibly hire this woman! She made a complete fool or herself in that awful program. Would look bad for ther company.")
