A friend just wrote me to let me know someone is posting a fic on AFF called Left My Heart.

Here's the summary: "In the beginning of the Last Battle, Draco faked his own death to protect Harry. He was to go to the States until Voldemort was dead and his Death Eaters were captured. Two years later, Harry decides to go on vacation, and runs into the one."

For some reason, I don't even feel offened by these comments... which is very surprising. I actually NEED to know what people think about the fic so I can continue.

Ah, good! The more I thought about it, the more it seemed to me that was probably the case. I don't claim to have any particular copyright on that title, of course, but you might consider putting a note on your fic that you're aware it has the same title as another fic, and that your story is indeed different. People get very riled up about plagiarism in this fandom, and you might save yourself some trouble. :-)

Yeah, I plan to do that. I'll read your story and check out the similarities (from what everyone has said, the title and part of the summary) and differences.

Just a little fact: My fic isn't going to take place in San Francisco. Not even CLOSE. I was thinking maybe Connecticut or New York... don't know.

You know, one thing I DO feel offended by is that one of you said I took someone's idea for my story "A Fine Line Between Love and Hate". I forgot what title that person said, but I did NOT take someone else's idea. I don't like to copy other people. I like to come up with my own things but I guess there are a lot of similar stories out there.

About my writing: it's THAT BAD??!! lol. Wow! Well, since I'm in high school now I guess it can improve. That line, "Crystaline tears made their way down his pale cheeks as he thought about the possibly large amount of time he'd have to be away from Harry." Yeah, that's mine. Never saw it anywhere else.

AFF: I don't really read stories on there, only R and once in a blue I read NC-17 (shhhhh!). If I do, I'm mature enough to handle it. A lot of people say I'm mature for my age. But who cares if I get kicked out! I have my stories on four other fan fiction sites.

Oh yeah, I'm not in a duo anymore. So yeah...

I guess that should explain everything... right? Do you mind if I stick around? I have nothing to do in my spare time. Writing stories is getting kind of boring now. I like to write but I need the urge. I don't have that urge now. So... do you mind?

I don't let things like this bother me anymore. I used to get so pissed off at it and I used to curse the crap out of people. But now, pfft! Flame me all you want! No, I don't mind if you friend me. Thanks for understanding! *hugs*
