A friend just wrote me to let me know someone is posting a fic on AFF called Left My Heart.

Here's the summary: "In the beginning of the Last Battle, Draco faked his own death to protect Harry. He was to go to the States until Voldemort was dead and his Death Eaters were captured. Two years later, Harry decides to go on vacation, and runs into the one."

Wow, now that is blatant thievery. I've been accused in the past of stealing ideas from other writers, but I was oblivious to the theft as I hadn't read the fic... and there were only 3 things that were similiar. However, in this case title and story synopsis sound so eerily familiar, it's rather icky. Of course, your Left My Heart is "the" fic ;) and I'd rec nothing else but that Left My Heart. Eagerly awaiting the sequel.

It's quite close, isn't it? And the fact that the title is the same... that's the thing that bothers me. I don't want people to confuse the two. Thanks, also!

Definitely close, and I'd definitely complain/keep a watch out for it. But I think you've got such wonderful readers/supporters, you probably don't need to worry about that girl too much, however still watch her.
