Jumping on the fandom bandwagon. Gacked from lots of people.

Sorting Hat Results:
Gryffindor: 89% (Huh? That's much higher than I would have guessed.)
Ravenclaw: 97% (Duh! Wonder what 3% I missed?)
Hufflepuff: 78% (Okay, sure. I'll buy that.)
Slytherin: 24% (Again, Duh!)

I think the only thing that has changed on my Meyers-Briggs test through out the years is E vs I. Depending on what has been going on in my life, there have been times went I have become much more introverted and gotten an INFP result rather than my more standard ENFP. But I do agree that basing career recommendations for teenagers on their MB tests as a predictor for the rest of their lives could be problematic.

It would be interesting to see a fic where this idea was explored. What if things changed in a student's personality throughout the course of his or her Hogwarts career? If you were to start with a student who doesn't have strong characteristics for any of the houses (maybe like Helens *point up) who gets sorted into one house but then later starts developing and changing and winds up much more suited to another, what would happen?
