emmagrant01In case any of you HP fans out there missed it, Kevin Smith's Smodcast did an episode devoted to Deathly Hallows Part 2 (it's episode 180 here), and OMG -- it's freaking hilarious!
It's basically Kevin and his friend Scott Mosier going scene by scene through the movie and riffing on everything. They seem to be stoned, which makes it even better. Though they get a lot of canon details wrong (you'll want to correct them a lot, but just go with it) and keep doing this annoying Russell Brand accent when trying to sound British, it's a crazy funny listen.
There is an astonishing amount of slash and adult-oriented content in the podcast, I have to say. Kevin Smith is just cool that way, but I almost lost it in the grocery store listening to this.
• They devote a good ten minutes to the idea that a better fate for Voldemort would have been to obliviate him and then make him work a glory hole in some dive in Diagon Alley for the rest of his natural life. They then dub him "Voldiemouth" and call him that for the rest of the podcast.
• They make Harry/Ron and Harry/Snape comments, including a hilarious discussion involving Snape passing on his memories through semen rather than tears, and then having said memories actually consist of every single time he jerked off in his life -- including once on a sleeping Harry.
• They think Harry's victory over Voldemort should have been celebrated by Harry getting a public blow job in the Great Hall.
• They speculate about the sex life of Arthur and Molly Weasley, Lily giving hand jobs to all the Gryffindor guys, and whether Dan got an erection during the kissing scene with Emma. They also suggest that a lot more probably happened between Ron and Hermione after the kiss in the Chamber of Secrets.
• There is a hilarious segment about what might have happened if Tom Riddle were sorted into Hufflepuff instead of Slytherin, and suggest he would have invented the best magical bong ever rather than try to destroy the world.
• They talk about how much more money the movie would make if it included a scene in which Ron wanks over Harry while Harry speaks parseltongue in his sleep. "Grint-on-Grint action" and "Come see the X-rated version of Harry Potter!" ROFLMAO!
• Neville to Voldemort: "Oi, go fuck yourself!" LOL!
