Jeff Ranieri, a correspondent on the Today show, just explained wind chill as follows: "Whenever you get wind moving across your body, it pulls away the heat molecules from your skin, making you feel that much colder."

WOW! That is really promising. It's so good to see educators working to fix systematic holes -- I only hope they receive funding and support. It's the one thing that I can cling to; regardless of how crazed the world becomes, there will always be good people out there who are working to make it better. If only they were the first port of call whenever the US government wanted to throw a few billion at something.
