they way i first watched that was my and my friend at the tender age of 13 ACTUALLY rented a superman movie (the name now escapes me) but inside the rental case was none other than TO WONG FOO THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, so we decided we might as well watch it, and we were blown away. best mistake of our lives

i watched To Wong Foo when i was 11, i think it was the reason i started liking the transexual and gay culture....great film... i could never see Swayze other than as a girl after that...

my mom saw it and banned it from my VHS collection T_T

Oh, I adore that movie! Wesley and Patrick and John as drag queens? *squees* They were all absolutely brilliant! I loved that men as "macho" as Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes would take a chance on these roles, and I admire them for it. John was so very feminine, too.

My boyfriend always gags when it's on, but he's watched it through with me at least once. ;D

I like "Priscilla" loads better. Swayze and Leguizamo were great as women -- Swayze was so good, I actually started to believe he was a woman - but Wesley Snipes was terrible.

LOL you are such a gay man in a woman's body! I know several of the drag queens who were extras at the contest and in the finale. They were all able to get S.A.G. cards by appearing in it. It was a great experience for all of them.

Brilliant film. I have it on DVD and alwatys gets watched when im in a bad mood and need chearing up.
My SO hates it. He always moans that Wesley Snipes should be seen as the guy from Demolition Man.. not a drag queen :D
