Okay, this day so officially SUCKS now.

Majority of Texans, I hate you. You are intolerant, hateful, ignorant bigots. The fact that you hide behind religion and cutesy children's drawings of heterosexual people holding hands does not make it less true.

Aw, I'm sorry, Emma. In a way, I'm envious that you're able to vote on these things, as here, our area reps do. On the other hand, if it were up to the majority of Canadians, we wouldn't have legal gay marriage so...

About the marriage thing? I'm second guessing myself a bit now, actually, since our Supreme Court can be all "Hell no, that violates the Charter of Rights and Freedoms" and such, but I know that where I am there were a lot of people that had issues with the wording, and I think a lot more people were ok with it once it said that religious groups (churches) could not be forced to perform marriages (or have them in their buildings), if it goes against their beliefs.
