emmagrant01So, you know that "Ten nasty things I'd love to say" meme that was going around a few days ago? I didn't read any of them, because I swore off wank a while back. And it just isn't worth the energy to try to figure out if any of those statements were intended for me. If someone hates me, fine. It doesn't really matter in the scheme of things, you know?
Instead, here are ten positive things I'd love to say about people. And hell, I should probably just say them rather than post them anonymously, but the truth is that each one of them actually applies to several people. So if you think it's meant for you, the odds are that it is. :-)

- You are one of the strongest women I know, and you don't deserve all the shit you've had to go through. I admire your strength so, so much! Know that you have a loyal friend in me.
- I read your fic and think damn, that's good. I wish I could be as good a writer as you. I feel like I learn from reading your work, and I suppose that is good enough for now.
- We would be good friends even if we didn't have fandom in common. I adore you for everything you do and are, and I'm proud to be your friend.
- I feel badly that I haven't read much of your fic, but it isn't because I don't care or because I don't respect or like you as a writer. On the contrary, I just haven't had time with STG going on. Your fic is on my list, and I'm planning to get to it soon. I keep hearing good things about you, just so you know!
- You probably consider yourself just a fangirl, but you really mean a lot to me. Thanks for your sweet and unwavering support! (And thanks for the very special things you've done for me too!)
- I wish I could get to know you better, because you seem like a wonderful, intelligent, thoughtful person. I'm not on your flist, so I doubt you'll see this, but I'll continue to admire you and your work from a distance.
- I loved your writing so, so much, and I'm sad to see you drifting away from fandom. I understand that's how life is, of course -- but I still wish you were here and writing, because you made fandom a better place by your presence.
- Your art makes me giddy -- it's just so good! I don't know how you do it, how you manage to capture such wonderful detail in an image. You've drawn for me, and I was so, so honored. Still am!
- You're such an adorable person! You're quirky and funny, and I love that about you. I'm so happy that we've gotten to know each other better!
- One of the hardest things about drifting out of the Star Wars fandom was losing regular contact with you. Sure, we still comment on each other's posts, but it isn't the same. I miss you, and I think about you often.
