*gets all wistful about the 'early' days in fandom!* I'm just amused by how much people angst over turning 30. I can't wait. And I have two white hairs that I'm so proud of. Can you tell I don't mind the idea of getting older? ;)

Puh-leeze. Turning 30 was awesome! For me, it was the time that I not only felt like an adult at long last, but I finally started being taken seriously by the rest of the world. IMO, the 20s are all about exploring, playing, and figuring out who you are and what you want to do with your life. The 30s are about knowing who you are, being happy with it, and finally starting to get the things you've been working for. :-)
