I was shocked not to come out as 12, but instead I got 24, which is the age most people seem to take me for in person despite the fact that I'm much, much older than that. I didn't know you were all my age ;) Now I don't feel quite so goofy about my "children's book" obsession. Despite with Stephen King says, I still feel a bit silly about it sometimes.

*gets all wistful about the 'early' days in fandom!* I'm just amused by how much people angst over turning 30. I can't wait. And I have two white hairs that I'm so proud of. Can you tell I don't mind the idea of getting older? ;)

Puh-leeze. Turning 30 was awesome! For me, it was the time that I not only felt like an adult at long last, but I finally started being taken seriously by the rest of the world. IMO, the 20s are all about exploring, playing, and figuring out who you are and what you want to do with your life. The 30s are about knowing who you are, being happy with it, and finally starting to get the things you've been working for. :-)

That must be it. :) I have no problem with the idea of being 30--except I'm not. A group of kids came up to me in the mall last year and asked if they could take my picture for a scavenger hunt. After they took it, one of them announced that they were supposed to take a picture of someone who looked like their friend in 10 year; they were 15 at the youngest. Thanks, right.

33 was a great year. I finally grew up and my life has been wonderful. I turned 34 in November, but I've been having so much trouble remembering that number and am aware of at lest three times in the last two months that I have given my age as 33 and not realized it until later. I don't even know if it has happened without my figuring it out.

I think I will just stay 33 for another year and see how 35 feels when I try it on in November.

Hmmmm, gonna turn 29 in 5 months, I it seems like I just act this age now ... didn't answer the first question (don't watch any of it) .. and it made me 26! Then put in West Wing (although never watched it) and it came out 29!
