Have you ever made a snarky comment about Bush on your LJ? Have you ever ranted about politics? Have you ever criticized the government? Think you have some right to freedom of speech on your own LJ?

Date: 2004-10-27 01:06 pm (UTC)The fact is that when you post something on the internet, people find it. Your neighbor, your parents, your friends, your coworkers -- you name it and they run across it. The fact that I haven't been visited by the FBI or CIA as a result of things I've put on my blog in the last two years is amazing to me (mostly because I know I have a file somewhere thanks to having so many "Top Secret" and "Eyes Only" clearance people in my family).
It's sad, wanky, and nutty that someone could get a visit like this thanks to an LJ post but it's not surprising.
In short, I'm looking into buying a small island that I can set up camp on if things keep going like this. Geesh.
