I desperately need to update my recs pages! I'm very far behind... If anyone has any post-Hogwarts H/D fics they'd like to point me to that were written in the last couple of months, feel free to drop me a comment about them here.

Another thing I want to post on my web page is a rec list of LJ communities related to Star wars and Harry Potter fandom. Beneath the cut, you'll find a list of the communities I currently watch and would recommend to others. Hee, ok these are all HP comms.

andropotterist, hp_commentary, hunkwarts, pervy_werewolf and wizardwank are all misc pairings.

hpart and hpsmart are both art comms.

knightshoots is HP RPS.

I also noticed you don't have "Freind Like Me" on your list. This is the most canon fic you'll ever read from Draco's POV that will make you ache for the poor boy. I don't know if you've read it, but it's a total must!

Here's my list which I have no doubt we have duplicates on. (most recent ones are at the bottom, oh yeah teh list is kink heavy.)

Lastly, I suck at the whole summary thing, but trust me on the two listed. They are worth it.

Till Death Do Us Part (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1799964/1/) by anna_michelle87 is a post-Hogwarts H/D fic I've been reading. I recced it on my journal, but good things should be multi-recced! =)

Let's see, comms you don't have . . . for H/D, there's also harry_draco and for SS/HP, there's snape_potter as a basic entry. Dunno if you want to include just plain useful comms for writers, but hp_britglish generates interesting discussion and has a truly great memories section, which archives things well by topic. Oh, and, umm, to match bottom_draco, there's also bottom_harry. More later, as I think of them.

Also, on Post-Hogwarts recs - has sending them by email been effective recently, or would you rather just have links?

I maintain a Harry/Draco community, but it only has about 285 members. It is harrydraco.

And I wrote this post H/D fic, Emeralds and Diamonds, which wouldv'e been posted publically, but I was too lazy. It is currently winning (voting is still in process) at thelemontree. I actually, really like this fic. :)

Emma, just a q. Don't you want to re-post you essay about Abby's Paris in hp_fictalk? It's interesting if the reaction of the comm audience differs from chix_talkin_fix. I wanted to take part in the discussion in the group but had no time. In general, while my interpretation of the fic may not be exactly like yours, your critical approach makes your interpretation valid. It works. I liked your essay very much because of it. Thank you for it!

That's a really good idea, actually! The discussion just stalled on CTF, which I felt badly about. Um, can I just post it there? Do I need to ask the community owner's permission first?

Yes, I'm a member. I actually just left a comment there asking how to proceed -- I was a little uncertain about whether this fit under the FTBC umbrella or not. I also emailed Rita to see if she wanted to post her essay too. This is a great idea! Thanks!
