Please indulge me while I make a little announcement.



I can hardly believe it, but the final draft of Left My Heart has just been sent to beta. The rewrite was a very big project, much bigger than I'd anticipated! I got so much wonderful constructive criticism from people on the first draft, and I really, truly appreciate it! I'm very happy with the way the final version has turned out. I hope people will be interested in reading it when it's posted! Thanks in advance to jedirita, littlesnitch, (ETA:) _inbetween_ and devon_may for taking a look at the final draft for me.

And this means... I can finally start writing the sequel! Yay! When I post the final version of LMH, I'll let you know when to expect to see that start. I anticipate posting parts on Wednesday mornings this time around. I might even post a little cookie soon! Stay tuned, and thank you so much for your support and patience. I know this was promised a while back...

Oh yay, I can't wait for the next part of that one too.. You say you're going to post the chapters according to real time, but like, that's a long time. Lol, how real? The way you did Left My Heart was effective, once a week.. it keeps people still hooked and they don't lose interest because they don't have to wait too long. I'm curious, is all. *g*

The sequel to LMH will be posted in weekly installments, just like LMH was. It may kill me, but my goal is to stick to that schedule as much as possible. I'm atually hoping to get a good deal of it written before I start posting parts.

"Best Served Cold" is a secondary priority, for one thing, but it is a series that will definitely be posted in real time, just for my own sanity! There's no way I could write that and the LMH sequel and do everything else I'm committed to do (and that's just in fandom, not including work and family) and post frequently. Ain't gonna happen!

My plan for BSC is to write a ficlet about once a month, and to have it set during the time it's posted. So the first installment was set and posted during the first week of classes. It was posted a little early, actually, because I was submitting it for a challenge and had to meet the August 31 deadline... :-) The next installment will take place in late September, and will be posted then, the next in late October, and so on.

I'm sorry if that's inconvenient for readers, but I'm just not capable of churning out good fic frequently! The writing process is long and work-intensive for me, and I do the best I can, as we all do.

Oh of course not, I think the way you're planning to get them all out is very organised. It's a good schedule. No pressure. I'm in awe of you because you can do all that, on top of everything else! :)
