Picked up from [livejournal.com profile] ixchelmala: Elvis Mitchell Interviews Alsfonso Cuaron about POA.

***
Interviewer: One thing it really shows is your rapport with the actors. I feel like it's something you probably want to bring to the movies. It's more about the actors and the piece.

Curaon: [...] We were always working for the honesty of the moment, even though they are wizards, their emotions are very human. Fron the get-go, we established that kind of relationship with the actors. For instance, Professor Lupin, who's played by David Thewlis. We said he's your favorite gay uncle who does smack.

Interviewer: [laughing] I gotta read this book again!
***

You do that, dude, Their love is SOOO canon! *grins*

Oh, and here's a great essay [livejournal.com profile] elwing_alcyone wrote on the topic a while back.

Come on, Snape saying they were quarelling like an old married couple?

I might've been the only one in the theatre who squealed. The first time anyways.

Oh no, I squealed too. And come on, he never once said werewolf in his explaination for why he was leaving. Just "people like me." It makes me happy.

Oh, that is great! I love that quote - I wonder if I could mention that question and answer elsewhere? I am on a few yahoo lists that would get a kick out of that.
A few questions though; who is Elvis Mitchell and what program was this interview on?
Sorry, I have never heard of this Mitchell person ;-)
Thanks,
Cindy

The whole interview is very good. Cuaron makes some hilarious comments about wanting to put a lot more sex in the movie. He says that if it were up to him, "these kids would have been having sex with each other all through the film". He also makes a comment about the fact that it was hard to resist the temptation with there being two boys and one girl, and the interviewer said, "Hey, didn't you already make that movie?"

As for the questions you have about who this guy is, I'd suggest you ask [livejournal.com profile] ixchelmala, since she's the person who found the clip and has it posted on her website. All I could tell from listening to the interview was that he has a radio show based in Santa Monica, CA.

Yes, feel free to mention the quote wherever you like!

Oh, thanks! I'm surprised that I keep getting feedback in so many different places. Just out of curiosity, what did you think was disappointing about the ending?

u should post this story up on fanfiction.net

Ummm... That would be a no! It would get TOS'd before I could blink! Besides, FFN is a kid-friendly archive, and I don't want to post NC-17 material there, when I know for a fact that they forbid it. When the final version of LMH is done, though, I'll probably submit it to a few archives, as well as put it on my own web page.

please give me an eztimate on when u will be posting up the sequel .

Well, I'm rewriting LMH first, and then I'll start on the sequel. I want to get quite a bit of it written before I start posting, so I'm guessing late September at this point.

Thanks so much for seeking me out and leaving a comment!

How could it not be true? Look at Siruis' animagus! Weither he chose a large dog, or the dog chose him it still pairs him up better with the wolf than a rat, stag, or human!

*snuggles Moony & Pads* Yay for doggies!

*I* certainly don't mind! ;-) I asked [livejournal.com profile] ixchelmala if I could link to the clip from my LJ (since she has it posted on her site), and she said she thought she had the bandwidth to withstand lots of hits.

So yeah, please link! It's a great interview!
