I was in San Francisco a few weeks ago, and I convinced MDH to go to the Jumpin' Java Coffee House with me. I'd never been before, actually, but it was really similar to what I pictured! I took the photo below with my phone, so it's a bit blurry. I also took some notes and picked up a lot of details to put into the rewrite of LMH. Yay!

Geez, I was actually there about a month ago, and pass by there regularly. Now I really have a visual to connect with LMH. It's kinda spooky. :-p

And the thing I love about LMH, is that I've spent my fair share of time in The City and you capture such wonderful details and overall sense of the city.... I see all of it.

I got married there too... in The Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden in Golden Gate Park... with friends that live 4 blocks away and walking distance to the old Sutro Baths and the beach and yes, even a sun room where the cold wind blows against the glass and all you see is the tops of the trees of the park, the old windmill blades and the sea in the distance.

Yes... all that and more I think of when you have Harry and Draco in The City. I can't think of a better place for them really.
