This is something I love about the porny little corner of fandom I’m in. There is no other place in my life where it would be considered acceptable for women to say things like this to each other, but here we have a safe space in which to perv over fictional characters (and sometimes non-fictional ones too), and it’s so fantastic. :-)

*snickers* I love it when I get a fic back and there are about ten thousand commas and tense corrections in the beggining, but then the edits suddenly stop. Here I am thinking that my rabid abuse of the English language suddenly gets better when writing intense scenes, only to get to the end of the fic and find a note saying "Sorry. I got distracted. I'm going to go back over that last section later when I can stop thinking about sex."

I've said it a few times on my own LJ, but it just fascinates the bejesus out of me that some people still think that women have lower libidos compared to men, or are less visual, or less crude.

Those people? Need to get on tumblr and poke around in fandom spaces. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

I am SO JEALOUS of people who can knit and read at the same time. I can barely knit and watch TV at the same time! And even then, it has to be, like, stockinette.

Also, this makes me feel better about my first time beta-ing, 'cause I left notes on it here and there saying things like, "Oh god, I love this part, this is so hot, hnnnng."
