OMG!!! So ACFB was my first foray into Sherlock/John because I went looking for authors that I knew and trusted first :D

I said that to say, yesterday while I was looking around a bit, someone referenced ACFB as "the Gone with the Wind" of Sherlock fandom and my thought was ....but I hated Gone with the Wind. I guess I can see it in terms of the fact that apparently EVERYONE in the fandom knows it.
