So overnight Greywash posted the final chapter of In Deed Accomplish Our Designs, and just now [livejournal.com profile] holyfant posted the last chapter of The Fabric of Life.

My FEELS, y'all. SO NUMEROUS.

I won't have time to read either until later, but they're now both downloaded to my Kindle, taunting me. *whimper*

If you're a Sherlock fan and for some reason haven't read either of these, go, go! Read!

EDIT: And OMFG [livejournal.com profile] splix just updated Roses of Picardy too. If IvyBlossom updates The Quiet Man today, I may have a stroke.

EDIT 2: Aaaaand The Quiet Man was just updated. Good thing I got a whole night's sleep in between, or that would have done me in. ;-)

It is a good day in fandom!

*flailing*

I know, it's like winning the lottery on Christmas. Now if only jupiter_ash would finish A Study in Doubles this weekend I think my fangasm will be complete. I read greywash's last night and am going to read holyfant's now. My kids are just going to have to fend for themselves.

Haha, yes, and I saw that ivy_blossom updated after your first edit too, so obviously everyone was in some kind of synchronicity this weekend. (Still waiting for it to be complete before I start reading though.)

I'm saving greywash (the whole thing! I haven't read a bit of it) for when I finish my exam. *quietly excited*

It's really interesting to read both of your takes on the reunion and life afterwards. I won't say anything more so I don't spoil it for you. ;)

OMG I just found and read The Sensation of Falling, etc. YESTERDAY.

Sometimes, there are advantages to arriving a little late to the party. ;)

And you get to read it all in one go! Which is awesome, though there's one thing about following WIPs that I really love. :-)

OMG, seriously. My Kindle is like that. It's 90% porny fanfic, along with a couple of unread books. Heh. I really should turn on the password lock feature...

I used to never read WIPs. DAMN THIS FANDOM.

Last week I read Chameleon (by Velvet Mace) which meant not only reading a WIP, but reading an AU/crossover one at that. And it updates, like, every few MONTHS.

I'm doing something new and posting links to the stories I like on my tumblr. Yeah, it's partially to rec them, but it's also so I can look back on the tag and re-find stories I like to reread later if I want. There were so many stories I read in the HP and LOTR fandoms that I loved and I'll never find again because I don't remember the author's name or the title or even where I read them. And even if I did write about them on LJ, it would take forever to find the entry because I never use tags on my LJ, and I read some of those stories when I was posting several times a day. (Also, a lot of them are long gone. SIGH.)

Anyway. New stories to read! YESSSSSS.

Those are both such amazing fics. I really wish there were Sherlock/Irene fics like them around. (or just any long ones, really)
