So last night I was following links on this awesome post of Martin Freeman's work and ended up watching I Just Want to Kiss You, in which Martin is ickle and dorky and adorable.

And I seriously spent the entire time convinced that he and his (male) friend were going to get together. Everything pointed to it, and it was the only logical conclusion I could see the film coming to. And when it didn't happen I was sort of like, "Wait, what? WTF just happened?" And then I remembered that my brain doesn't see narratives like normal brains do.

*sigh*

And OMG, sithdragn: THIS? I have never in my life had such a physical reaction to anything purely aural. I mean, 0_0. Where is my husband??? That's all the foreplay I need, right there. Holy shit.

If you have the time and haven't seen the movie The Nativity with MF do it. He is adorable and it is a Christmas movie but he dances in it. I loved it and it made me fall more in love with him :)

Speaking of other roles for your guys... it occurs to me! We have a little bit of fandom overlap: Benedict Cumberbatch and James McAvoy were both in Atonement (which I hated, and BC isn't in it very much) and Starter For 10 (which I adored, and BC is in it quite a bit more -- if you have any '80s pop culture nostalgia at all, WATCH THIS ONE). :D

Am I the only one who could see it illustrated/animated? Watercolors, maybe a bit of pastel, lots of rich, dark colors with bits of brightness? I think they should do more poetry this way--all timeframes, assorted voices--I think poetry overall would be a LOT more popular!^^
