I'm (very) slowly posting all of my fic to AO3. It's interesting because in many cases I don't really remember what the fics are about and have to re-read in order to tag them properly. Some of this stuff (particularly the old HP fics) I haven't read in ages! It's a also surprising to me how much Harry/Ron I wrote. It's basically the second most frequent HP pairing I wrote after Harry/Draco.

I'm slowly rewatching Sherlock as well, interspersed with reading fanfic. I got completely absorbed in the Two Two One Bravo Baker universe, holy hell. That's one of the most amazing fanworks I've ever read. Seriously! And I feel like I need to read it again, because I missed a lot the first time through.

I have a Sherlock case fic I really want to write., but I need to stew on it for a while first. I originally thought I'd make it post-Reichenbach, but now I'm thinking I won't. That just adds a whole 'nother level of stuff to deal with, and I'm not sure I want to go there just yet.

I can't believe it's only been a week since Reichenbach. It seems like a month!

ISN'T TTOBB THE BESTEST EVER????

(Everything she writes is amazing. I hope she gets back to Overclocked soon.)

It's stunning world-building, and incredibly inspirational.

And do know know how long it's been since I've read WIPs? OMG, years! I'm not used to waiting to find out how it all turns out!!

I just did this same thing about two weeks ago, and it was very, very bizarre. I kept running onto fics I'd totally forgotten about!

Ten years in fandom will do that to a person, though. ;-)

So many feelings. If we're all this mental now, how's it going to be by the time we get the next series?? OMG.

The TTOBB series is awesome. A fandom classic for sure.

I'm just amazed at the world-building she did. I'm usually not all that interested in AUs, but that one, wow!

*ahem* I wrote one too...*coughcough*

ETA: No pressure to read it or anything, only if you want to! Just putting that out there. :-) This fandom is pretty light on AUs. TTOBB was really the first big popular one.

Really? I feel like I read more AUs as part of the Sherlock fandom than any other fandom, besides HP.

I think I have that one on my Kindle next in line to be read, actually. As soon as I get my stuff for the next [livejournal.com profile] slashcast wrapped up, I'll have time to read fic again. :-D

Ttobb is so amazing. I wish she will post the chapters a little faster. I am DYING of anticipation.

Is it not finished? I thought it was. Hmmm.

Yeah, it should have two more chapters (ONLY TWO?? My heart cries).

Really? So she's rewriting "A Study in Pink", then? It seemed like it ended at a good spot.

I just had to do the same thing with my fic. Until I recently started writing Marvel/DC fic the last time I wrote and finished a fic was in 2009, and prior to that the last one was in 2007. I had to reread things I'd forgotten writing just to tag them on AO3.

It also made me sad because I think I was actually a better writer in 2007 than I am now. Ouch.

Out of practice? I know I am!

Judging from your recent stuff, you are not nearly as out of practice as I am!

Plus in 2007 I had recently completed a writing class. It was just an intro level class but that probably made a difference.

I used to be incredibly prolific, and that constant feedback loop from betas and readers is incredibly valuable IMO. I haven't been able to write like that much in the last few years.

But it was worth it, wasn't it? :-D

I really love the way she doesn't shy away from writing a LOT of sex. And it's never boring or superfluous. Though there were lots of times when I was like, "Really, you're having sex now? You're using what for lube? Wouldn't dual hand jobs be a little safer in this situation?" Heh. Not that I'm complaining or anything...

I remember Sherlock himself was taken aback at the gun oil. *sporfle*

Two Two One Bravo Baker is just glorious. I read it all in one sitting a while back, and I've not read any of the updates, though now it's finished it is definitely back on my To Read list (ah, that list is long. This fandom never stops!)

I can't believe it's only been a week since Reichenbach. It seems like a month!
Yes! My first thought after reading this line was 'think it's bad for us, what about John?!' Lord, this addiction needs to end, it's embarrassing!
