My 4yo is currently running around the house singing Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" at the top of his lungs. He seems to know all the words. ALL of them. I blame Heidi.

Okay, fine, so it could be because I've watched that vid about a hundred times in the last few days. STFU. ;-)

That's funny!

Reminds me of when my then-4 yr old couldn't stop singing Pink's "I'm coming up so you better get the party started" at my father's wake. The funeral home dudes were in hysterics!

Gotta love the toddler set!

Haha. XD I had put my headphones in when watching it, (More because I knew if my son heard music playing he'd want to check out what it was) and he was playing with a toy by himself, but kept interrupting me every 3.5 seconds to tell me what the truck he was playing with was doing, until I started ignoring him. So for me, the music had a background track of, "Mom. Mom. Momma. Mommy. Mooooommmmm. Mommmmaaaa."

lol. The perils of being a fandom parent. XD

Whenever I'm on my laptop, my son assumes I'm working. I can be writing fanfic and he'll say, "Mommy, stop working!" He loves fanvids, though, especially ones for Disney movies, and there are some great ones out there!

XD Nice.

Hmmm. My son hasn't seen a lot of Disney movies, but he's OBSESSED with My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic. Haha. So my computer has a fan-made desktop background that he loves, and I've printed out pages from fan-made coloring books before.

So our children clearly benefit from us being a part of fandom! ;)

Oh, definitely! I'm not sure how many moms out there encourage and enable fannish obsession in their kids, but fan moms will!

My 4-year-old piped up from the back seat one day and said "Mommy, why he say "if I had an enemy bigger than my apathy I could have won"? What's apathy?

Made me really glad that I had been skipping "Little Lion Man" while he was in the car.

It kind of is -- as long as he doesn't sing how he's the motherfucking princess in the middle of the grocery store. ;-)

Cute! My 2.5 year old is on an Aqua kick - her favorite video is the Bumblebee song. Check here for the video. Pure toddler gold, and parent sporfling.

Our latest crack on YouTube is all the Gummy Bear songs! They're like techno for toddlers. Utterly cracky, too.
