I was interviewed for [livejournal.com profile] hd_writers, and my interview is posted here in case you are interested in reading my far-too-lengthy thoughts on writing. :-)

I loved reading your interview. It's always fascinating to see how another writer thinks and how they go about the creative process. I've always enjoyed your fics and I'm quite happy that you are content to stick around in fanfic and continue to produce lovely H/D stories. I've not gotten bored with them after several years and it's good to know others are the same.

Stories I probably haven't told you:

Once upon a time I met a friend, and found out she was a major Harry Potter fan (more than myself, actually). Slightly drunkenly at a party, I said I read slash and asked if she did too. She almost squealed (out of character for her) and said yes! She read H/D! And I replied: "OMG! Me too!!!" And we proceeded to have a conversation that confused/disturbed our friends for several minutes. And she wanted me to read her favorite fic, but she couldn't remember the name of it, but it was really long, and said she'd get home and send me the link when she was sober and in front of a computer.

And she sent me a link to Left My Heart, which I'd already read. Hah!

She's not on LJ anymore (she said she only had an account for reading fanfic anyway) and she's gone back to college full time, at a really really hard university. But I send her links to stories I like anyway, and sometimes I get back "Ooh! I needed a break from studying and this was excellent. You are EVIL."

STORY TWO
One day I'm on the bus during rush hour and the bus is full of people who just left work, when my eye catches the papers that the woman in front of me is reading. It's clearly a printout, and the top of the page has a long web address in it, but what my eye noticed was that in all the URL stuff it said "/hd/". I took a quick glance at what she was reading: Yup. Slash. And I couldn't help myself and poked her and said (with a wicked smile) "Are you reading H/D slash?" She got the same grin and said, "Yes." And we talked for a couple of minutes, and we agreed that you're our favorite H/D author.

I don't have the patience for slashfic that I used to--I used to read stories I didn't like all that much until the bitter end, and now if it doesn't catch me in a few paragraphs I stop reading it. Some authors' styles just don't appeal to me. But so far, I always like yours!
