I've gotten a flurry of comments on "Left My Heart" and "Surrender the Grey" lately. It's so amazing to me that 7 years later (yes, 7!) people STILL want to read those fics, as hopelessly old and AU as they are.

They are no less fabulous for being AU (or a few years old, for that matter). We love them no less. Big, long epic fics are unusual these days, so it only makes us treasure those we have all the more. Of course, you could always jump in and create another masterpiece for us to squee about?!

Oh, how cool! I am proud of those fics. They were one of the only good things I did with my life during those couple of years. I kind of poured my soul into them at a really hard time of my life, and it's nice to have something to show for it, you know?

I need to re-read them, heh. It's been years.

I think it was recced on HarryDraco recently, so maybe that's why the flurry. I just re-read them both too! It was such a great read for my weekend, I love those fics. It's amazing how more and more of the mystery opens up throughout the epic.

Of course, those stories often classify h/d in my mind. I remember waiting on pins and needles for the next chapter.U deserve reviews for another 7+ years still and then some. I will always love your work, in some ways I still compare todays works to those stories. :)

Yeah, they do age well, don't they? I was worried at the time that they'd be irrelevant the moment the last book came out, but I think the slash side of the HP fandom has been very accepting of AUs since the end of the series. Particularly the Snarry and H/D fen, for obvious reasons!

I think it's tumblr. The new alternative to LJ. I don't particularly like it because although incredibly visual, I like to communicate with words. But it seems to be the new flavor. I'm getting lots of comments on older stuff too. It's nice, isn't it?
