So that'd be between 2:00am and 6:00 am for me, basically during the precious few hours when I get to sleep. Just as it's been the previous two nights. I thought maybe they'd mix up the times a bit to give people all around the world a chance to find the quill, but apparently if you live in the western hemisphere, you're just screwed.

Unless you can stay up all night, which maybe some of y'all can do. But I have a small child and a traveling partner and I work, so sleep isn't something I can just do whenever I want. I only get to sleep under certain conditions as it is.

Yes, I'm being whiny and a wee bit entitled. But dammit, I want to play too!

True, but it's a $300 flight and $120 admission (per person, of course), plus hotel and food and... Yeah, $2000 to go to said theme park. :-P

If it makes you feel any better, they're still not letting anyone in yet. After you validate your registration, you just get a different coming soon page that essentially says you may have to wait several weeks for access as they're trying to stagger the beta testers.

Yeah, that is rather annoying. :( It would be nice if they reserved a clue or two for those of us NOT in their time zone.

I might be not supposed to pass this out, but I'm in hogwarts_elite and they've set up a twitter so that the folks who CAN stay up or are in that time zone can post to the twitter when the clue goes up, and everyone in the comm who has phone notifications on can wake up and try to get in. I guess I'm not going to name it, but you could probably find it pretty easily, or set up something similar with friends.

I actually stayed up late last night even though I would have preferred to go to bed at a decent hour, get up at a decent hour, and get stuff accomplished today.

So I found the Magic Quill and registered...but still no validation email. So basically, I stayed up for nothing. I may try again Thursday night/Friday morning but I'm not sure how I feel about wasting another of my days off.

Do not register again, or it will invalidate your first registration and you'll just get stuck waiting longer. It took two days before I was validated and stupid me decided to get another account (just in case I was sorted into hufflepuff) and now I have to wait again.

I have a secondary work email account I thought I'd use. But I'm happy to hear that some emails are just coming in later than others. Most people are saying that their validations showed up an hour or two after registration, and that had me really worried.

And I'm actually really hoping I get Hufflepuff. :)

I stayed up and registered for some friends last night and woke others texting them. If I'm up tonight when they put up the code, I can text you or register you. For registration, you need an email addy, B-day, country you live in, and then you choose a password (I'm sure you can change that later) and then you get to choose a username out of the 4 they give you.

Just let me know.
