Why is LJ sending me all these emails reminding me about all the dead comms I mod? They're just noting I'm listed as the owner, and that's it, but since I'm only getting emails about the dead ones, it seems like a nudge that I should DO something about them.

It's embarrassing how many there are, actually. :-P

Edit: 10 dead comms and counting. Yikes! It's like that thing they do on Survivor when they remember all the previous contestants who've already been voted off, and it's all in the past tense as if they're dead.

Because there was a change announced in the last news post to the concept of an owner of a comm (the creator) being sort of a special status. The idea is you can't ever be banned by co-mods, although if the creator has left, then whoever's been there longest is named owner. Or something.
