A request

I'd really like an icon for "Left My Heart", and I have no idea what to do. I'd like an art-y one, like many folks seem to have. However, I can't draw worth crap. How do most fan artists feel about people using their work for icons? Do you just ask?

Does anybody have any suggestions? Much thanks...
