I'm "74% (Dixie). That is a pretty strong Southern score!"

But I don't even have a Southern accent anymore, and I lived in Arizona for 14 years.

Dude, I compute at 67% and I quit living anywhere remotely southern (West Virginia: hickish, but north of the Mason Dixon, after all) when I was two. I visit. I learned to speak from parents who grew up there, but we none of us have especially disernable accent. Except for the word y'all, which Oregonians other than me do not, by and large, use.

Hee.

Hey! Where in Oregon are you?

My dad was from Oklahoma, and his parents, of course. They moved to California when my dad was a baby. I get "soda pop" from them. ^_^

What's up with this! I only scored 72% and I *still* live in North Carolina! Hmm...that just goes to show you, Emma, no matter how far away you move, or if you lose your accent, you're still a North Carolinian at heart!

Kisses,
Elocin

*laugh*. 40% Yankee. And almost all my answers say "Great Lakes" dialect, which makes perfect sense, since I grew up in Indiana. I didn't realize the Midwest had a dialect per se! Guess I was wrong. :)
