I learned something interesting yesterday: Apparently, one day in 1999, wook77 and I both sat in the same ticket line at the same movie theater to buy tickets to see The Phantom Menace. And then we just happened to buy tickets for the SAME showing on the first day it was released. So almost eight years ago, we saw TPM together and didn't even know it. 0_0

WOW... it's that whole 6 degrees of separation like kind of thing. The closest thing I've had to that is finding out that a co-worker and I went to the same wedding and it was our cousins getting married, which sort of made us related by marriage.

We found out when we both got some free concert tickets from another coworker. I gave them to my parents and they also took my aunt and uncle. Pam gave them to her aunt. So they wound up sitting next to each other at this concert. It was pretty funny once we all found out.

I bet that IRL everyone in fandom is six degrees away from everyone else who's within 7 years of them in age
Randomly, there are people on my flist who knew my college boyfriend in college, who went to law school with myhusband, college with my sister, and high school with my best friend from sophmore year.
