But still. Oh my.

I'm getting used to it, but it still feels weird to look at him and see such a hot body. He's clearly worked hard on those abs. They deserve an icon, I'm thinkin'.

Off to the gym for me.

Those pics are even winning over everyone on ohnotheydidnt which is notorious for slamming Dan. Most of the commenters are all "OMG when did he get hot?" and "Oook, having pervy thoughts about Harry Potter is weird!"

But then there's this whole subset of "But he's 12!" comments that I don't get. Dude, time passes. People grow up and become hot after being 12. Is this a foreign concept?

There's also puzzling slamming of his body hair, which I think is perfect...not too much, not too little.

I usually avoid ONTD, because reading the comments usually annoys me. I went and looked just now, and yep -- annoying. But still more positive than usual!

I've never understood that weird abhorrence of body hair. I like it. I think it's masculine. Fangirls aren't into bears, though. ;-)

Very true. But Dan is not remotely bearish. His chest hair is quite light and his arms aren't that hairy, nor is his face (loving the stubble, too).

I've always been suspicious of overdone hair-abhorrence as some kind of weird neurosis about maturity and idealization of pubescent body types.

You want sexy, just-right body hair? Jake Gyllenhaal in his myriad shirtless pics. Nice and hairy, but not TOO hairy.

Oh, me too. The recent shots of Britney et al with bare crotches was disturbing to me in that way, because the message it sends is that pubic hair is gross and bare is somehow better. But that hair is a sign of maturity -- why is the ideal for a woman to look like an 8-year-old girl from the waist down?

MDH is pretty furry, and I like it. ;-)

I for one think WOW. :)
Elijah took awhile to start looking his age and Dan in a way has actually by-passed Lij in the growing up phase of life. Both are HOT don't get me wrong. Lij is some 8 or 9 years older and still looks like a little boy sometimes. Dan I think will probably get there faster. Hopefully he'll grow up very nice looking. Some guys grow up and just don't look as good looking as they did when they were younger. Shame. :(

Wow, I agree - definitely disturbing.
In the play, the horse is to be played by the actor and dancer Will Kemp - www.willkemp.org - not a real life equine! Brings a whole new meaning to "My Little Pony" ;)
I wish I was going to be in London when Equus opens - thinks, where's the nearest train station and can I get time off work...?
