Thanks SO much to the folks who've sent me virtual gifts!

I got a stack of gifts from moonflower_rose and an anonymouse, mistletoe from snottygrrl, miracle511, and legomymalfoy, and a lump of coal (!) from lusiology. My UI page is now all decked out with holiday cheer!

And I have to share this bit of fun from today. MDH had been teasing his parents all morning, and finally MIL had had enough.

MIL: "He needs to be spanked! I don't think I could hold him down to do it, though."
FIL: "I know *I* couldn't hold him down."
MIL: "Emma, I think you're going have to be the one to give him a good spanking."
Emma: *spews coffee*
MDH: *raises eyebrow and smirks*

And the funny thing is that she has NO idea we took it that way. :-P

When I was small a stocking always contained an orange to symbolise the sun, a silver sixpence for the moon and a lump of coal to light the fire. I hope the fire of H/D burns bright within you for more months to come regardless of book 7.

I've only ever heard that Santa brings lumps of coal to people who've been naughty. And I think I've been an exceptionally naughty fic writer this year. ;-)
