The registration isn't that bad, based on my experience with such cons. Of course, the hotel seems horribly expensive -- but that's London. The prices MDH and I are paying when we're there in November are sort of mind-boggling. :-P

Yeah, there should definitely be a Slashcast presence there! I should talk to the Snapecast and Spellcast folks and see if they want to do somthing jointly. :-D

Or some sort of panel discussion that we could insert into an episode of Slashcast, with audience participation and stuff? Live streaming is really difficult and expensive, but recording a show "live" for broadcast just requires organization and some basic equipment.

We're hoping to do something similar at Prophecy a few weeks later, so it might be interesting to integrate the two programs somehow. Hmmm...

I'm so excited for you, it looks like it's going to be amazing. I was so bummed that I missed Lunmos, that I vowed to attend a conference next year. After about 3 hours of research, I detetrmined that Sectus is a little too exspensive for me. The registration isn't bad, but the hotel price is nuts. It came out to about $1000 before I even added the airfare! When I added that, I had a trip that totaled about $2016! Not including the fact that we have to eat everyday. Anyhoo, since Phoenix Rises starts on my last day of finals, that's a no go too. So, Prophecy it is! Did you say you were going to Prophecy as well as Sectus? It looks like it's gonna be great, I don't know how I'm going to sit still until August!

Have you made hotel arrangements yet? If you're still interested in rooming together, let me know (couldn't quite tell if your hubby was going to be coming with you or not). If not, we'll just have to find a bar and prop up a picture of mijan to keep the tradition going ;)
