I don't mind Harry's hair but then again... I was also focused on really really tall!Dean Thomas as well and didn't take much time looking at Harry, honestly.

I didn't much like GoF hair but I miss the PoA hair.

I love how everyone's getting so worked up over the hair and Ginny's pants and all the subtext that you can read into it. I think that this photo release was just the kind of thing that was needed to proove to all those skeptics out there that our fandom is not dying, it's just sleeping in late, waiting for somebody else to brew the coffee. I think my f-list had no less than five people discussing those pics within a thirty-minute time frame.

Oh yes, it is just the beginning. The madness will return, just wait and see.

I posted a comment about the pictures with a link in one of the communities I belong to and within a span of like 20 minutes there were like 50 comments on things like the Hair, Ginnys Pants, Umbridge and the total lack of anything resembling a hair bow, and in the trio picture has anyone yet to spot Harrys Scar??? I tried to find it and I couldn't see it...

But yes our fandom is not dead...it just took a mini vacation. And now that its back and had some coffee to shake off the sleepiness that follows a vacation I do believe that things will return to normal...

Harry's hair looks awful indeed (I really liked his hair in the last movie), as does the Fred's and George's. I don't mind the rest. Malfoy is not in the pic, but I do hope they changed his hairstyle because I didn't like the actor's hairdoo in GoF. It looked... weird.

I absolutely hate the twins hair. Its makes their head look funny and all out of shape. Now Ron's on the other hand, I happen to like his hair. Its not all over the place and constantly hanging in his eyes like it was during the last movie. Its short but not to short and he can still make it look like a mess.

I like Harry's hair, now - I hated it in GoF. I thought it looked like that awkward phase that hair gets when a person is trying to grow it out from a short style - and no one looks good in that phase.
Same goes for the other boys.

Yeah its the same way in the HP community I belong to. I was all like "HIS HAIR HIS PRETTY HAIR! WHAT DID THEY DO TO HIM?!"

And others were like "its about fucking time they cut it. Harry looks much better."


But I'm still saying "OMG HIS HAIR." Its jut something that I never expected to change. Like you know Harrys eyes have never been green and I have grown to accept that, but his hair, his hair was the one stable thing and now its gone.

So many people are commenting on the hair. I hate Harry's hair, there are so many references throughout the series about it's unruliness, but now he looks like he belongs to the Log Cabin Club. I mean check out the basket. Put him in a suit and he's ready to cruise the insurance sales convention circuit. Hmm, an idea for an icon there.

Ron's hair looks like I imagined. The twins need more "hair band" type styles to go with their behavior. I'm thinking of bands like Nelson and Warrant, or maybe even Alice Cooper not Whitesnake and Poison.

I saw the pic of Umbridge and was not impressed. Nowhere even close to looking like a frog ready to lap up a fly. I was imagining her looking more like the Witch of the Waste in the cartoon Howl's Moving Castle... squat and jowly.

I don't care what they have to do, but dammit they better make sure Harry's eyes are green for the entire movie, not blue in some scenes and green in others.

I just keep remembering back to about 10 months before GoF when the first stills came out and everyone hated Harry's hair. Now to read comments, you'd think everyone loved it. I think we'll get used to this style too. Just think how much worse it would be if they had stuck a awful wig on Daniel like they do with Draco.
