And so I present: The Armadillo.
Most commonly seen dead and squashed on the roads of Texas, these bizarre little creatures are generally nocturnal. But as you see in these pics, they are often out and about at dawn, rooting through your grass for worms and bugs. This one was in my back yard one morning last spring.

Radioactive Turkeys
Date: 2006-09-10 04:45 pm (UTC)I called them 'radioactive' because they were enormous and reminded me of the freakish huge radioactive seagulls we have here in Aberdeen that I swear to god could carry a cat off if they wanted to.
