emmagrant01: (Draco)

In a profoundly ridiculous waste of time, I have been restructuring my web page over the last few weeks. Please take a look, and give me feedback! http://www.queerasjedi.com/emma

Several sections are still under construction, of course. I've been putting together a list of HP recs, and I'm particularly fond of post-Hogwarts Harry/Draco fics. (I love the idea of the boys looking at each other differently as adults...) I've got a list of ones I've read compiled on the web page, and I'd appreciate any recs anyone might have for me!

You can't have a rec page without The Familiar by Resonant! It's an essential HP read, whether you're a Snarry fan or not.

I'm sure I've got others. But being as that's my absolute favorite HP story... I'll email later. Right now just on making sure I got my network all rewired correctly. :)

And I haven't read it! I'll have to take a look. :^)

Oh! And... took a look at the page. Nice. But I didn't know you'd done any HP fic! Or is that just a placeholder? What gives? I'd love to read some Emma HP!

Okay. Overenthused. Definitely bedtime. ;)

That page is a placeholder. With the exception of that little RPS thingie I wrote, I haven't written out of the SW fandom yet. I have bunnies, and I plan to do it at some point. I have a few big projects to get done in the SW fandom first, though. Thanks for the encouragement!

Squeak! It's cute, I like it, *and* it even works on Mozilla Firebird 0.6.1. However, I have to admit that I'd always rather have plain old clickable links (or perhaps in addition to?) than dropdown lists; I find them easier to use.

And I'll be curious what you come up with in the HP fandom! So far, literally the only things I've read are by [livejournal.com profile] darkrosetiger, who's written some outstanding Lucius/Snape stuff. :)

That was supposed to be a space-saving strategy of sorts. Not that it really matters. Mostly, I just wanted to see if I could get the code to work! ;^) And then I was proud of myself...

Me too, honestly! I have many bunnies, but I'm not ready to write in another fandom yet. I have too many things in TPM that are half-finished. At the moment, I'm pretty happy just reading. There's really quite a lot of good stuff out there, I'm discovering.

Wow, I really, really like the color scheme...clean and easy on the eyes. And I love that art.

I personally *really* like the dropdown menu with "what's your poison?" Gave me a kick!

I saw a couple of typos...want I should blab 'em here? ;)

That last one was on the TPM page too, so it may be on all the pages you have that statement on.

Hope I helped!

Thanks! It's hard to catch all those.

Unless one uses a spell-checker. So, yeah, I really ought to do that, huh?

lol I tend to have a proofreader's eye. I love catching errors in books, newspapers, and most especially on tv news graphics. Our basketball team was the "Portland Balzers" once. I about died laughing.

It looks fabulous. You are so talented! And hey, that disinherited Draco story sounds interesting...

No! Don't get me started reading HP fic! Evil woman! Hurry up and rec some Star Wars. 'Course, I've probably read them all.

*blushes* Awww, gee...

No! Don't get me started reading HP fic! Evil woman!

You know, if I could rec anything to you, it would be "Transfigurations." I really think you would like it! It really blew me away, and it's actually the reason I haven't written any HP yet. I'm not sure I can do anything that good...

Hurry up and rec some Star Wars.

I'v been putting that one off because it will take some time to sift through the hundreds of fics I've read and try to recall the best ones. That's another Sunday afternoon's work, I think!

Thanks!

Wee! I love the website. Very easy to navigate, not crowded and a good color-scheme.
