Slashcast is coming tomorrow!! *squee*

I'm so excited to be able to post about this at last!



The first episode will be up tomorrow! A group of us have put a lot of hard work into this, and we're really proud of the finished product. I'm producing the "Insider Interview" segments for the show, and the first one is SO AWESOME!!

Because people have been asking: you don't have to have an iPod to listen to the show. It's just an mp3 file, so you can download it to your computer and listen to it with media player or whatever you use. We're going to have it listed on iTunes so that you can subscribe too. Go check out slashcast for more information.

ETA: Despite the launch date, it's not a joke -- this is for real! Well, if you listen to it and think it totally sucks, maybe you can consider it as a joke... ;-)

You may not be able to LISTEN, but I'm working on transcribing some of the segments right now so they'll be available for you to READ. The transcription should be available at the same time as the podcast.

I liked your interview section quite a lot!

First off, your voice such a feminine timbre that is so pleasant to listen to and is absolutely cute and sultry which was a lovely surprise. I never quite imagined what you'd sound to begin with so much as how you'd look, so it was a pleasant surprise to hear everyone's voice like that :D

You speak very clearly with the right speed that made it so much easier and delightful to listen to (esp. for an ESL like me).

I think this was a great idea as I felt like it brings fandom closer to me. To hear one's fave author's voice makes it all the more intimate than just cyber-blogging. You guys took fandom to the next level and it's fantastic!
