We had a LOT of fun on Saturday night, and I'm so happy to have had the chance to meet all these wonderful women! When I posted that I'd be in New York and asked if people wanted to get together, I had no idea the response would be so huge! There were 20 of us all being fangirly and naughty, and we all had a blast!

The party started way before I got there, but I arrived at the Heartland Brewery on 5th Ave. around 7:00 to find everyone in full swing! There was

We spent a couple of hours at the brewpub hanging out, having dinner, and being generally naughty. There were drabbles and lots of naughty art left behind for the waitstaff!

A bunch of us got Dork Mark tattoos from

dramaphile. Mine hasn't faded one bit, either. :-P

So does that make us Dork Eaters? We must have a reunion at Lumos and be marked again, maybe find others to join our ranks... ;-)

We had a great time over dinner, everyone talking and drabbling and drawing and generally having fun.

cormallen recounted some of the plotlines of The Sith Academy, and

simons_flower almost fell out of her chair by the end, she was laughing so hard!

satindolls wrote a smutty H/D drabble on the table, and there was a reading at one point! (

We headed over to Element in the East Village around 11:00, where Damon DeMarco (of Hunter & Damon fame) was to be a-go-go-ing that night. It's a new club, and one of our group had managed to get us in cozy with the manager so we could skip the line! We danced, drank more, shouted at each other over the loud music, and ogled all the pretty boys. We finally got to meet a scantily-clad Damon, and he was so sweet! He even posted a bit about us on his blog! ETA:

It was a long train ride back to NJ for me, and I even had to get up early the next morning, but it was SO WORTH IT to meet all of those wonderful, beautiful, fun-loving women! I am SO excited for Lumos now!!!
