Out Youth: This is an organization I first learned about through the United Way's campaign where you donate part of your paycheck to selected charities. I gave to them through that program for a couple of years, and then one year they weren't listed any more. I'm not sure why. But I had to go seek them out again, because this is a really great organization.
Their mission is basically to support GLBT teens in central Texas. They have a drop-in support center and offer all sorts of programs to provide counseling and support services for teens, as well as run a statewide network of GSAs. Check out their web site for more information about their various projects, as well as pictures and video clips. One of their donors is listed as "Dumbledore's Queer Army", which is completely awsome!
