I won't be posting the next part of STG tomorrow, and I apologize for that. My life has been crazy in the last week, and the next part just isn't where I want it to be. A good chunk of it needs to be rewritten, I think, and that's not the sort of thing I can do tonight. I would rather take a week off from it than post something that sucks. :-P

Part 27 will be posted next week, and I'm 99% certain there will be 30 parts total -- so this will be done by the end of October at long last! Thanks for your continued patience and support. :-)

I finally caught up on STG the other day, and believe me, it's fine to wait for a chapter or two. Real life comes first, and you have to take care of you first, and when you can, come back and entertain us.

I have to admit that I've come to look forward to Wednesdays. :) In a way, I'll be sorry when StG is complete because of that. But it's been a fantastic ride, and really, you deserve huge kudos for having updated so faithfully for 26 chapters already! That's an amazing amount of writing.

I gather that your real life is hectic and has been difficult lately; that's where it's at (real life, or so I've heard :P), and you have to do what you have to do. I think people understand that. I certainly do.

Because I've been ill for 3.5 weeks, and one of the only highlights of my week has been STG updates - so the very selfish, miserable, sore part of me wants to wail and gnash and throw a king sized tanty.

Still, your life really does come first, and if you're not happy with it, then a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!

Hope RL is under control now, and that you're well and happy - I can't believe you're going to manage to resolve everything in three more chapters - but I have absolute faith in whatever you're planning... *g*

Oh, honey, don't worry about it! I know exactly how you feel; I've hated having to post those messages about your next update being later than hoped, and it probably feels worse to you than to most of your readers. Just do what you need to do; take the time you need and don't stress out about it, if you can help it. :)

I hope no one nags you about this. That's not helpful. I mean, it's nice to know that people are waiting on tenterhooks for your updates (myself included!), but when your life exerts itself over your timetable, there's not much you can do and there's no point in trying to force the issue when you're stressed out, anyway.

I'd make you a cup of tea if I lived anywhere near you. :)
