I have questions today.

1. Why is it still over 100 degrees here and almost October?

2. Why is it that no matter what I do and how well I try to do it, I'm going to piss someone off?

3. Why does #2 bother me so much each and every time it happens? I should know better by now.

4. Why aren't there spam filters for your paper mail?

5. Why do the squirrels eat my bird food and the birds eat my squirrel food?

6. Why does time pass at warp speed when I'm cruising my f-list but slow as molasses when I'm grading papers?

Not expecting answers. Just asking... :-P

Wouldn't that be nice? I sorted through 9 days' worth of mail today and pitched about 2/3 of it unopened.

Are you in California too? If so, the answer is either a. because you're in California or b. because the whole state is a desert or c. all of the above. I think it's referred to as an 'Indian Summer' in some places.

Because there are people in the world that live for drama and angst, and if there isn't anything in their life that is dramatic or angsty they will generate something that is.

Umm... I don't know you all that well, but just from the question I can see you are compassionate and kind (if you weren't you wouldn't care)and it upsets you that someone may have been upset by something you said- even if they are being ridiculous.

Because there are not enough fairies who are willing to sit in your mailbox and zap the junk mail?

Squirrels are fuzzy diabolical experimental psychologists. They take sadistic delight in playing headgames that can't be won and teasing all comers to insanity. Mind you, having them visiting your yard is totally worth it IMO. :)

Because time flies when you're having fun.

P.S. Would pics of baby squirrels being bottle fed cheer you up?

Re 3: It's just annoying when someone jumps all over your case for something you had no idea would piss anyone off. And their attitude is all, "You should've known!" And I'm thinking, "How? I'm not psychic!"

Ack, I know. There's a giant pile sitting on my living room floor right now, and most of it will go straight into the garbage.

Texas, actually. It has been this hot since May. :-P

The bird and squirrel feeders are mostly for the entertainment of my cats, so in the end it doesn't really matter where they're eating. It's just odd.

Hey...I've never really commented on here I don't believe. But anyway I hope you're doing well and I want you to know I've been following LMH and the sequel for quite a while now and it's still great. I'm excited for the conclusion! But also saddened...=(

I've read all the Harry Potter books and I'm a big fan so I think this is HYSTERICAL! My boyfriend got an email the other day informing us of this ongoing live journal discussion about my apparent resemblance to Draco Malfoy. There's a discussion board up and lots of screen caps of me from "Team Players"(the funny thing is this is actually my first look at the movie since I haven't gotten my copy yet).
