Well, I'm not sure that's what I meant. We can do something. We can keep making ourselves heard, at the very least. The president's approval numbers are dismal at the moment, and if he tries to nominate another neo-nazi to the court, there'll be hell to pay.

No, I know that's not what you meant. Actually, I didn't mean to sound quite so flippant. *g* In reality, I do what I can and get very mouthy about Shrub and my dislike of him.

Even if we get a good person as president on the next round, I worry that all s/he'll be able to do is attempt to clean up Bush's mess, with resultant criticism from all quarters.
