Thanks to shudaizi for this link. It's a very powerful letter written by the mother of a young gay man, addressed to the bigots and hatemongers who have been dominating the political dialogue about gay marriage and gay rights in Vermont.

What a wonderful letter! I wish the world would wake up. I have two small sons. Who knows what their sexual orientation will be? It's just mind boggling to me that people still believe it's a choice.
