COS on ABC

I haven't watched COS for a while, so this will be fun.
6:20 Is Harry sitting in Ron's lap in the car when they escape the Dursley house? It looks like it. Why hasn't there been any cast commentary yet? That's the whole reason I'm putting up with the commercials.
6:25 Yay! They inserted the scene with Lucius and Draco!!! *drools happily* What is it that the shopkeeper takes out of the box that Lucius says isn't for sale? God, I love Lucius ordering Draco around...
6:30 I really dislike Dan's hair in this film. They got it right in POA. And I had completely forgotten how H/D slashy this film is!
6:40 Where's the freakin' commentary? Hey, has anybody else gone to King's Cross station just to take a picture of the place where they film? *sheepish grin* The car scenes are cute, but Rupert's overacting is a bit annoying. He was so much more natural in POA. And why did they decide to put the whomping willow so close to the castle in this film? It makes no sense.
6:50 My cats REALLY hate the mandrake noises.
7:00 Kenneth Branaugh is brilliant! *nudges
loony_moony*
7:20 Where's my commentary...? *whines*
7:26 EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Wow! Hair! Gah. Footage! But so short!!! Could Dan look any more like Elijah Wood?
7:35 Hagrid: "That bludger's been tampered with!" Thank you, Captain Exposition. Oh, and nice spit-take, Dan! :-P
7:45 I love that Justin Finch-Fletchley is the ONLY boy at Hogwarts who seems impressed by Lockhart. *snerk* "And this is my lovely assistant, Professor Snape!"
7:50 Library scene! I like that one. And this line by Hagrid is kinda pervy: "Harry, you look all hot and bothered." My husband used to use that particular phrase as a polite way of saying "horny". :-P
8:05 Was the whole "Maybe I'm the Heir of Slytherin" scene in the film? I'm having a hard time telling what's deleted and what isn't. If it isn't obvious, this one is my least favorite of the films...
8:15 Best line delivery in the entire film: "I didn't know you could read." *snerk*
8:18 *gasp* I've never seen that bit where Harry and Ron, still polyjuiced, run into Crabbe and Goyle! Wow!
8:33 The scene with Tom Riddle and Hagrid is a bit cheesy, with Hagrid being in shadow the whole time. OMG, is that a commercial for a VIBRATING razor???
8:48 Was the scene of Ron and Harry getting under the invisibility cloak new? And hairbow!Lucius! Heh.
8:53 Squeee!!!! Behind the scenes GOF footage! Dancing! Awkwardness! I'm already in love with Dan's hair. Wow.
9:06 I love how snarky all the teachers are towards Lockhart. There's always one loser teacher at a school, and all the other teachers talk about them behind their back, too. ;-)
9:18 Ron's wand backfiring on Lockhart is such poetic justice. And Branaugh plays it so well! "Do you live here?" *snerk*
9:25 Squee!!! More behind the scenes stuff! Harry and Ron snipping at each other -- so cool! Oh, I can't wait!!!
9:35 Is it just me, or does the basilisk fight scene have a bit of a cheesy Clash of the Titans feel to it? Great line: "Funny the damage a silly little book can do." Spoken just like a fundamentalist Christian, and from the mouth of the devil incarnate. Heh.
9:40 Eeee! Willy Wonka trailer! Johnny Depp!
9:50 Oooh! Lucius and his pimp cane! I love the way he's lit in this scene -- so ominous. And you gotta love Dobby knocking Lucius on his ass!
9:55 Who's the teacher in the funky hat sitting next to Snape?
9:58 Okay, I KNOW I've never seen the scene with Lockhart in the straightjacket before!!! Okay people, I need some COS-inspired porn now. Got any recs?
10:26
gmth has posted transcripts of the GOF-related stuff! Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3

Ok, speaking as a Tom Felton
fangirlsympathizer. He WAS a great actor. Have you seen Anna and the King and Second Sight (a British TV show staring Clive Owen as a detective going blind but has a kind of psychometric power instead. Tom was in two episode, portraying a boy whose mother was killed and he was the only witness.)? He was great in those... esp in Second Sight. The boy gives me a creep!Screw Chris Columbus and his childish interpretation of Malfoy's 'snear'.. :p

Really small screen though, its harder to see and its not all of it, but it is mostly there.
