I started posting Left My Heart on  March 3 of  last year, so it seems fitting to start posting the sequel a year later.  :-)

Title: Surrender the Grey
Author: Emma Grant
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Draco Malfoy returns to London after five years of self-imposed exile to start a new life with Harry.  But will the secrets of the past destroy everything they've worked for?
Note: The first draft of this story will be posted here on my LJ as a WIP, starting Wednesday March 2.  I'm planning to update it weekly.

ETA: *boggles* I am completely bowled over by the response to this announcement! A few people had mentioned they'd like to have a heads-up on when I'd start posting so that they could re-read LMH, so that's all this post was about. When I pulled up my LJ and saw 3 pages of comments, I nearly fell over!

Can you believe it? I actually started to count the days before I realized it's next week. *smacks head* I just wanted to add to the overall happiness that's spreading and say that I also have cleared my calendar for that night in order to read the first chapter.

We're all very excited to read the sequel to one of the best stories I've (personally) come across in a long time. Of course, this means that you're going to have some awful pressure and expectations to live up to. But never fret, for we have confidence. (in other words, we'll like what ever you give us. lol)

So, like all the others, I'm counting down. I've got my popcorn, alcohol and tissues in the ready.

LOL!!! Surprise! You wrote a really good Harry and Draco. There was loads of character development, suspence, angst, and really great sex (rimming!!!!)! I just want you to know that every time I get the chance, I shamelessly plug Left My Heart. I swear to you I have read it more than once and suggest it to everyone whether or not they read slash fics. Every place I can post something, my Lj, my site, my profiles at archives, I mention LMH. I think I'm obsessed. -Ponders that for a moment.- Right, I am, but I care not. It's still one of the best things I've ever read. (-Whispers.- Change My World by Char is awesome too.) I have little faith in my works, though I am proud of a few.

And after all that, the whole point was to let you know I mention you and your story every day. Bit off, I am.
