I got to meet charlotteschaos last night, which was fun! Hope you had a good birthday!

I should be working today, but I've been stalling so far. Here are some recs:

Roundabout, by arakne. Draco/Hermione, NC-17.  Yum! I could really see Tom Felton in my head all through this fic, which isn't true for most characterizations of Draco. He had just enough bravado and vulnerability here.

Twelve Days, by cursive. Snape/Draco, NC-17. I never thought I'd like this pairing, but wow! The way their relationship builds is fantastic. Still a WIP, if that puts anyone off.

See the Sun, by nenyaentwhistle. Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3. Post-Hogwarts H/D, NC-17. Beautiful and heart-breaking and uplifting.

First Time by lizardlaugh. Harry/Tonks, NC-17. Oh, I love this pairing! This seems to be an AU ficlet of her wonderful WIP "Beautiful Boy".

Oh, and can anyone point me to any Star Wars/Harry Potter crossover fic that features Draco/Anakin? Cause dude, that would so rock my world right now! :-P

Oh, oh, I think I've created a monster with this Draco/Anakin thing! But girl, I've got a bunny hopping around in my head, and of course, no time to write it. Sheesh, isn't that always the way? You'll be the first to know if said bunny makes it to the light of day... I have the figurines to help inspire me!

I had a great birthday, thanks! I hope you didn't end up with the hangover thing. I'm sort of... spacy. I left just after you did, I was so sleepy. I was kidding with the slow creep towards death, but man, I could hardly keep my eyes open. Thank you so much for the wine!

Well, I know araknes Fics for quite some time now. They are among the hottest there are ... Although I like Roundabout probably the most, the other ones are quite as hot and good (some of them are slash and others have quite unusual pairings):

Thanks for the recs. Now I have an idea of a the waiting room. That vast infinity, like waiting to collect your dole payments in England, where characters are stuck waiting around until they are needed for scenes. Needless to say, characters with the self importance and self-assumed good looks of Draco and Anakin would end up sitting next to each other. Hilarity would, quite naturally, ensue. Perhaps a duel or two as well.
