The Post-Hogwarts Harry/Draco Fic List (aka après l'école) has been updated.  As far as we know, all links are working.  There are even alternate links when we could find them.  We've added a bunch of new fics, so there are now more than 450 fics listed! We even have a new system that will allow us to update on a regular basis.  :-D  

Thanks in advance for any broken links or fic suggestions you can give, and enjoy all the great post-Hogwarts H/D fic!  And write more of it, why don't you?  ;-)

Emma, firstly, I just read Left My Heart for the first time yesterday, and I wanted to say WOW, and GOSH, and several other juvenile gushy words that dont come close to expressing how much I enjoyed this fic. I love your knowledge and detail of the gay scene and its surrounding in SF (I lived in Sydney for years, even dating a guy who lived in Darlinghurst - you know, the SF across the big pond?). I also loved that you didn't 'slash' up the gay scene, and thank you for the condoms.

I also really enjoy your PH H/D fic list - I've found some great reads there - truly a substantial contribution to H/D 'shippers everywhere (especially a relative newbie like myself).

I was wondering if you were still proceeding with P2 of LMH? and what your likely (I am not holding a gun to anyone's head over this) timetable is. You've started a really great story arc, and while I am mostly happy to see them walking into the sunshine for lunch and a future, I'm really looking forward to seeing where you take them and the relationship along with the great plot.

So, to sum up -thanks all round, and hope to hear more from you (ps, hope you dont mind that I friended you?).

Yes, I'm working on the sequel. It's been slow going, for a variety of reasons, some RL-related, and some writer's-block-related. I'm making progress, though! I should probably post something about that... :-P

Thanks for asking about the LMH sequel. It's coming along, slowly. This last month has been a difficult one for writing, for a varety of reasons. I am making progrss, though! It's starting to be something I think about and work on in my head constantly, and that's a really good thing. :-)

I just had to drop you a note (am doing it here, your email was bouncing) and let you know how much I enjoyed "Left My Heart." It is without a doubt the best slash story I've ever read, and the most realistically written.

I write a lot of het, and I don't have much time for reading fanfic. When I do read it I tend to read het, but I do love me some slash from time to time. This morning I followed a rec to your story and I'm so glad I did.

I'm a professional writer and I'm really, really picky. I found your story compellingly written and the characters complex and internally consistent, which is often a problem, especially in slash. I enjoyed your non-super Harry.

Do you have a sequel in the works or planned? I hope you do! I want to know the big secret inside Harry's head! I want to know what happens next!

Thanks so much for your comments! I really appreciate it and am very flattered you think so highly of the story! If you don't mind me asking, what kind of writing do you do?

Sequel: yes, it's coming along! It's been such a slow process, which is strange because I wrote LMH fairly obsessively over a period of three months. I keep waiting for that obsessiveness to come back for the sequel, and it hasn't yet. Hence, the writing process has been a little painful. :-P I just have to figure out how to get the story better organized in my head so I can write it faster, if that makes any sense.

Professionally, I write straight fiction. I've been published only with my freelance work (yawn) but I'm hoping that'll change this year.

Fanfic-ally (is that a word?) I wrote "The Paradigm of Uncertainty" and it sequels, which you *might* have heard of, although slash folk don't tend to read my stuff.

I'll be anxiously awaiting that sequel! I have you friended now so I won't miss it.

And was it just me, or is there a definite kind of Queer as Folk vibe about LMH? I kept picturing Brian's loft for Draco's apartment, and in my head Colby looks like Emmet.
