New Art for Left My Heart

I am constantly amazed by the talent of you artists out there, and I'm even more stunned when people draw scenes from a fic I wrote!

This art behind the cut is by Jillian, and I have to say it literally blew me away. The woman is talented!





She said it was inspired by this bit at the very end of the story:
“I want to try,” Harry said, cupping Draco's cheek. “I've been married and divorced, so I know what a bad relationship looks like.” He leaned forward enough to brush his lips against Draco's. “And you look quite good to me.”

The thing I love about this art is that it's one of the best depictions of adult!Harry I think I've ever seen! The tie did me in, and his hair! And the look on his face! I wish I could draw, but I know I'd never be able to get anywhere close to something like this. This is exactly what that scene loooked like in my head, too. *happy sigh*

Ooh, it really is very lovely. I have to agree with you on the adult Harry, it's so him, but grown up and with sharper features and different glasses, and I love the hair, so very good. I really like Draco too, the big hopeful eyes he has and that ass. ;)

Yes, I think that's it! The features are all sharper and more adult-like. And the eyes are so expressive, which is amazing. The glasses are very now; exactly the sort of thing Harry might be wearing in 2004. It's so gorgeous!

Ooh! I love this. I just finished reading the final version last night and this image is still fresh on my mind. Then seeing this, Guh! So sweet!

I added the pic to my saved word doc of your story. Hope you don't mind if I saved it. I usually print fics in booklet format and read them on my train rides to and from work. Since you had illustrations, I added them to the doc in the places they need to go. Makes for a more interesting reading experience on my hour+ ride on the metro.

LMH is brilliant, as you are. Your fic was the first H/D I read and now it's the pairing I read and enjoy the most (thanks to you!). Can't wait for the sequel!

You are very talented. I agree with Emma. It's a wonderful Adult Harry. This is very good as it is but I hope your final will be colored. With Harry looking at Draco like that with green eyes... Ooh, that would be lovely!

I am completely in love with your view of Harry. He is completely gorgeous. He has the look of being older and more mature but still younger and not quite an adult. Im in love! And Draco..ahh..hes just...beautiful...i love your view of these two...::melts::
