I was telling jedirita over lunch today (yay! fun! *snugs*) about some awkward teenage boy sex scenes I'd seen in fanfic recently. She needs to read a few for *cough* research purposes. ;-) Here are two I could remember off the top of my head that blew my mind. Hot, hot, hot stuff!.

Pairing: Rupert Grint/Daniel Radcliffe

Summary: So it's no surprise that Rupert seems to have no clue as to why Dan might call him, especially now at such an hour, and Dan doesn't really understand it himself when he doesn't simply say he hadn't meant to call and ring off.

Title: The Hang of It
Author: Resonant
Pairing: Harry/Ron
Summary: Harry and Ron figure things out.

Anybody have any more recs? I'm looking for realistic, awkward sex between boys. (Okay, that sounded really perverted. You know what I mean, right?)

Awkward sex or indeed any kind of sex between adolescents doesn't bother me, since we do rememberknow that adolescents have sex. But RPS, especially RPS between minors, squicks me majorly.

I've always loved the kissing/sex scenes in franlet's Resolution. It's only a little awkward though, but it's mostly first time stuff :)

One of the things I really like about the RPS ficlet above is that it's so real! It plays out so similarly to sexual experiences I had at that age. And it really doesn't have to be those particular boys, to be honest. You could change the names, and it would easily stand as original fic. But I guess it wouldn't have such a big audience if it were original fic, huh?

I don't have a problem with sex between underaged kids, because I remember what it was like to be 14/15! What bothers me, though, is when the kids in the fic know exactly what they're doing, and are clearly having "grownup" sex. That throws me out of the story. It just isn't real, and that bothers me.

You might want to check keelywolfe's Harry Potter section. I think she might have some H/R stories from a few years ago that fit the bill... but I don't have time to look right now.

Nevertheless, despite that horror, the stories are definitely...educational. Will no doubt help me with my homework.

And by the way, I came up with an absolutely brilliant idea for the Lupin thing we talked about. It'll be perfect. Ah, the angst!

Well, I started reading it and yes, the unease is interestingly-written; but I can't get past the fact that it's about two real boys, who'd in all likelihood be horrified to find this; so I stopped midway.
